About

Phoebe Liu is a Chinese-American illustrator and designer. Born and raised in Northern Virginia, she currently resides in San Francisco, where she serves as the 2024-2025 Children’s Design Fellow at Chronicle Books.

In May 2023, she graduated from the Pratt Institute with a BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design. She enjoys playing with line, magical realism, whimsy, and appreciating the lyricism within the mundane.

In her spare time, she can be found taking bad quality photos with her iPhone 7 or staring idly at plants growing along the sidewalk.
