About

Phoebe Liu (she/her) is a Chinese-American illustrator and designer. 

She currently freelances as a children’s designer for Chronicle Books after completing a year-long Design Fellowship there in 2025. 

She holds a BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Pratt Institute.   

Her thematic fascinations include magical realism, introspection, and places words can’t take you. Her pastimes include standing inside the circular connecting space of articulated buses and staring idly at plants growing along the sidewalk.
