About

Phoebe Liu (she/her) is an Associate Children’s Book Designer at Macmillan Publishers. She is also an illustrator and comic artist.

She completed a Graphic Design Fellowship at Chronicle Books in 2025. She holds a BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Pratt Institute.   

Her thematic fascinations include magical realism, introspection, and places words can’t take you. Her pastimes include standing inside the circular connecting space of articulated buses and staring idly at plants growing along the sidewalk.
